What are you doing to take care of yourself?

On this Valentines day, we share our love to those we care about most. Today, I would like to suggest that you also focus on self-care.

Last week’s #CheersfromQ suggested that everyone should be aware of their metaphorical gas tank and recognize when you are getting close to empty.

Additional tips to fill that tank.

1) Spend time with the people who you can feed off their energy and lift you up.

  • Schedule semi-annual or annual vacations

  • Plan FaceTime calls monthly with those who live further away

  • Meet at exercise classes together instead of meeting for happy hour

2) Make time for a non-work morning routine

  • Wake up 1 or 2 hours before you start your work day

  • Try not to take a peek at your emails the moment you get out of bed

  • My own routine: meditate for 5 minutes, make my morning breakfast Arbonne smoothie and write in my 5 second journal before my work commute

3) Prioritize a balanced exercise schedule
